Here is an example of a quick job for a client who had a targeted issue he needed me to address. This client was in the midst of a full house renovation when he realised that no considerations had been made for lighting in the multi-storey stairwell. I consulted with the client and relevant trades on site, produced several lighting options for the client to consider based on his preference for a modern, minimal, industrial style and his budget constraints, and produced plans designating the placement for these fittings.

The chosen design utilises strip lighting in the stairwell from the basement to the main living area with two strategically placed wall sconces which serve the dual purpose of functionality and adding interest to the space. There is a continuity in the wall sconces used continuing to the top level, but this is broken up with a large feature sconce which creates a focal point for the space. This project is still under construction but I look forward to adding images of the completed stairwell with lighting soon.
