MULTI-RES LOBBIES & HALLS OVERHAUL, NSW 2062
This project is a holistic refresh of the lobbies and residential hallways of three buildings comprising Cammeray Square. The goal with this project was to give these spaces a facelift that would age well as trends come and go. It was also a priority to preserve or upcycle existing materials where possible. The original lobbies featured a mass of warm timber cladding, some had sustained damage but much of it was still in great condition which allowed for it to be incorporated. The original lobby floors were also maintained in the design. The colour palette for the lobby designs in particular focused on timelessness while still maintaining visual interest and took cues from the materials in the exterior space.
Pictured are the proposed designs for the four lobby spaces. Each space has some overlap in materiality to keep the design feeling cohesive.

The resident halls set themselves apart from one another with different artworks, carpet colourways and resident door colours. There are distinct personalities present in each building while maintaining overall design harmony.
